Why does everyone hate skaters?

If you are a skater you will no what I mean when I say everyone hates you...

When me and my mates are just skating to the shop not even skating a spot the amount of dirty looks people fire at us is so annoying,

For some reason most PUBLIC places that we find and decide to skate within about 20 mins the police are there with full body protection gear, hands on there battons telling us to get lost,

No one really understands what is the problem with us being in a public place,

People need to understand that skateboarding is not a crime and we have just as much right as someone who pushes a push chair to be there,

So my message to all the police, when you are there telling us to get out when we ask why officer instead of saying "you have no right to ask me that" or "because were the police" give us a valid reason....
